A graduate of the same school of photography as David Bailey, Alex draws his influences from legendary photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson and Sebastião Salgado and specialises in shooting with natural light. With an innate talent for anticipating the perfect shot, Alex’s documentary background gives him a unique perspective on that intangible quality that makes a picture strike an emotional chord.

With an effortless mastery of the reportage style, Alex combines his natural warmth with an intuitive understanding of how to get the best out of his clients.

Alex works in partnership with his wife, Marcela, whose passion for detail and instinctive feel for design are the perfect complement to his vision and creativity. Together, they have built their business on the ability to tell the recreate the story of the families they work with in a way that moves and inspires.

Based in the Kentish countryside, Alex and Marcela regularly undertake portrait commissions for clients in Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas.
