Bronze award win for Tunbridge Wells portrait Photographer

We are very happy to announce that we won Two bronze awards in the People and Portrait category of the IAA Awards.

The International Aperture Awards are one of the biggest prizes you could win, and are hotly contested from all over the world, so to be recognized is a great achievement,

Here are the two shots:

The first was shot in the back streets Behind Tony and Guy and the second down at Camber Sands. Both now adorn the walls of our studio as well as the families involved. Thanks to you all.

Trying to get families together for a portrait is difficult at the best of times, but even more so if one half lives in Luxembourg!

Spending a morning larking around with the kids and throwing in the odd informal group shot meant we ended up with a real fun set of photos, and no one felt like they had been forced to smile.

Lovely colours and beautiful blue eyes were the story of the day, here is a video of the photos we took.

Hey Alex thank you so much for an amazing photo shoot with the boys….. You and Marcella were brilliant with Josh and Ollie and how you turned josh’s tantrum around was sensational…. Do you do baby sitting????

Josh is a perfectly lovely boy, at least he is until you try and take photos of his brother!

We have worked with George and her boys before, taking some memorable photos like this award winning one:

So with high expectations we set out to maximize the great light and freshly cut wheat fields.

Is it me or has wheat got really small! I remember it being head height, its now knee height?

The first shot shows where came from, both boys throwing a complete wobbly, but with a little encouragement, they were soon on top form.

This is a slideshow of all the images, there are some corkers that are going to look great as big canvases
